Structuring the Human Head

In 1954, Andrew Loomis published "Successful Drawing", an art instruction book which featured this drawing of Loomis' breakdown of the male human head. Loomis was a great believer in looking at shapes in everything that he saw, and every face he believed could be broken down into shapes which could be then structured into a face.
